Throughout 2022 Australia’s eastern seaboard was ravaged by some of the worst recorded floods experienced in recent history. Communities in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria were devastated. During these disasters the Australian Defence Force was called upon to assist affected towns and communities.
Operation Flood Assist 2022, which has been supporting local and state governments, deployed thousands of troops to flooded regions.
Black Diamond Group was tasked with supplying hundreds of pieces of various equipment around the country in order to support the flood recovery effort that the ADF was undertaking. We successfully arranged the mobilisation, installation and commissioning of assets all within hours of receiving requests.
Black Diamond’s approach, flexibility and experience within the Defence sector allowed for a seamless and agile response to the Australian Defence Forces’ wide range of requirements.
