Mike Ridley joined Black Diamond Group as EVP & COO of Workforce Solutions Group in 2017.

In his role as EVP & COO, Mike is responsible for overseeing operations and international initiatives in Australia and executing the strategic plan for the Workforce Solutions Group in Canada including assets, branches, personnel and projects. 

Mike’s experience spans twenty years in the modular and camp industries, including several senior leadership positions. He is the former President of the Modular Building Institute (MBI) and the Vice Chair for the Independent Contractors of British Columbia.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Commerce and Economics) from the University of Toronto.

Matthew Harris joined Black Diamond Group in 2016 as National Business Development Manager focusing on rapid-deployment camps and workforce accommodation. In 2021, he transitioned into General Manager, Sales & Operations, before being promoted to Vice President, WFS Australia in Nov 2022. Here he is focused on operational excellence, developing exceptional leaders among the teams, and market growth. 

Matthew brings over 15 years of experience across the Middle East, Asia and Australia in the camps and logistics modular building industry, covering mobile remote mining camps, containerized camps, establishing workforce accommodation and 15,000-person villages.

Through his leadership on the Sales team, Matthew has been instrumental in the overall growth of the Australian business. He holds a Diploma in Business Management, a Diploma in Hospitality, Certificate 4 A1 Management and Project Management.

Ray Brown joined Black Diamond Group in 2021 as Senior Operations Manager overseeing project controls and working in collaboration with production, design, and site teams. Ray commenced his career working on the Goulburn Highway Infrastructure project in 1990. 

Over the course of his career, Ray has accomplished several certifications, been awarded the Western Australian Trainee of the year in 2013 and appeared as a guest speaker on behalf of the Australian Institute Concrete, Cement and Aggregates Seminar Series. 

Ray is passionate about modular construction and the solutions it offers to otherwise unusable spaces. He loves the diversity of projects he can undertake from inception through to completion. His refined problem-solving and time management skills, and exceptional adaptability and efficiency have made him an integral part of the company’s operations. 

With more than 30 years of experience in the Construction industry and having previous extensive roles such as Consultant for Mahaffey Associates and Construction Manager for ABN Group, Ray is responsible for ensuring stringent standards are met as well as installation of the contracted scope of works.

Jenna Smith joined Black Diamond Group in June 2023 as Financial Controller of the Australian division, she is responsible for financial management and reporting. 

As a Chartered Accountant, Jenna has extensive experience in financial reporting and compliance, both in public practice and commerce. She brings to the role over 13 years of experience, across three continents, leading large teams in various industries. 

Jenna has a strong skillset in managing change and controls, understanding the needs of her stakeholders and meeting reporting obligations.
